英国皇家歌剧院最新现场直播录制的歌剧《唐·璜》，由奥利弗奖得主卡斯珀·霍尔腾（Kasper Holten）执导并首演于2014年，被《泰晤士报》誉为“情感饱满、引人入胜的一版制作”。奥利弗奖获奖舞美设计师埃斯·戴芙琳（Es Devlin）与她的老搭档多媒体设计师卢克·霍尔斯（Luke Halls）共同打造的舞台装置，为观众提供了一个洞察角色情感与思想的机会。在2019年最新影像版中，当今炙手可热的男低音埃尔文·施罗特（Erwin Schrott）继《浮士德》之后，再次出演“迷人的反派”！ 　　歌剧《唐·璜》是莫扎特在1787年创作的，这也是他和剧作家洛伦佐·达·彭特（Lorenzo da Ponte）继《费加罗的婚礼》后合作的第二部具有里程碑意义的作品。故事取材自西欧家喻户晓的传奇人物唐·璜，一个玩世不恭的情场高手。犯下杀戮罪行后，他的无所忌惮唤醒了来自地狱的黑暗力量……《唐·璜》将悲剧、喜剧甚至超自然元素完美融合，至今看来仍是一部极具开创性的歌剧作品。

First staged in St Petersburg in 1890, The Sleeping Beauty is the pinnacle of classical ballet: a perfect marriage of Petipa's choreography and Tchaikovsky's music and a glorious challenge for every dancer onstage. It is also The Royal Ballet's signature work. With Oliver Messel's gorgeous original designs wonderfully re-imagined by Peter Farmer, and additional choreography by Anthony Dowell, Christopher Wheeldon and Frederick Ashton, today's Sleeping Beauty not only captures the mood of the original but shows that this is very much a living work for The Royal Ballet, growing and changing with the Company while celebrating its past.

Fin de siécle elegance. A parade of sorts passes in front of a stationary camera. An ostrich pulls a cart in which two well-dressed girls sit, two mules pull a large cart full of children, two horses pass with children astride, a camel follows with two children atop; last comes a large elephant with children on top and a small elephant alongside. Each animal, except the baby elephant, is decked out and each is attended by at least one man. The children are all in hats and frills. After the animals pass, we see adults out for a walk, the women with parasols and the men with silk hats.
